Explore moments captured from our adventures across Uganda and beyond
Explore the beauty of Uganda through our lens
Every photo in this gallery comes from a real Semliner Tours trip — a game drive in Murchison Falls, a gorilla trek in Bwindi, a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, or a cultural visit in Kampala. We don't use stock images to sell our tours; what you see here is what your trip could look like.
Uganda is home to over 340 species of mammals and more than 1,000 species of birds. Our wildlife photos come from Queen Elizabeth National Park (famous for its tree-climbing lions), Murchison Falls (where elephants and giraffes are common on the northern bank), Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (mountain gorillas), and Lake Mburo (zebras and impalas).
The Rwenzori Mountains, the crater lakes of Queen Elizabeth, the Source of the Nile at Jinja, and the Sipi Falls on the slopes of Mount Elgon — Uganda's landscapes are remarkably varied for a country the size of the United Kingdom. Our landscape photos capture the parks, mountains, waterfalls, and lakes that make Ugandan safaris visually unique.
Uganda has more than 50 ethnic groups, each with its own music, dance, dress, and traditions. Our cultural photos come from community visits in Kampala, Gulu, and the Sipi region — real moments from real cultural exchanges that we include in many of our itineraries.
Beyond safaris, Uganda offers white-water rafting on the Nile, bungee jumping at Jinja, hiking in the Rwenzori and Mount Elgon, and boat safaris across the parks. These photos capture some of the adventure activities we arrange for travellers who want more than game drives.
Almost every photo in this gallery was taken at a destination that appears in one of our packages. If a particular image speaks to you, contact us with the name of the location — we can tell you which package includes it, how many days you'd need, and what the total cost would be.
