Semliner Tours & Travel Limited was founded in Kampala, Uganda, in 2023 with one clear purpose: to introduce travellers from around the world to the extraordinary landscapes, wildlife, and cultures of East Africa — through journeys that feel personal, not packaged.

What began as a small team of Ugandan travel professionals has grown into a full-service tour operator running safaris, gorilla trekking expeditions, cultural tours, honeymoon getaways, and corporate retreats across Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania.

Our team combines decades of combined experience guiding visitors through Uganda's national parks, working with local lodges and communities, and handling the practical details that turn a good trip into a memorable one — permits, park fees, vehicles, and 24/7 on-trip support.

We are proudly Ugandan, and we believe that shows. Our guides grew up near the parks they guide through. Our routes are built from first-hand knowledge, not just from maps. And our relationships with local communities mean your visit contributes to the places you came to see.

Every itinerary we build starts with a conversation. We ask what you want to see, how you like to travel, and how much time you have — then we design a trip around you. There are no fixed departures you have to squeeze into and no hidden extras waiting to surprise you at the end.

We are a licensed Ugandan tour operator. That means we hold the permits required to guide visitors through Uganda's national parks, we carry liability insurance for every trip, and we work directly with the Uganda Wildlife Authority for gorilla and chimpanzee permits.

When you travel with Semliner, you deal with the same people who plan your trip. Our founder, our operations manager, and our lead guide are all reachable before, during, and after your journey — by phone, email, or WhatsApp.
